Stress-nya!!! Not because of study, but because of Xanga. Bloody slow, hard to load, blog pun susah, entah siapalah yang create and maintain xanga ni. @#$%^&*!

Anyway, I really dunno what to blog. Feel like dump this blogging thingy.

Ok la, I'll start with OChaCha. Heard before? It's a cafe, like Starbucks, where it serves all those green-tea related stuff (Ocha=green tea). Pics ahoy~

The drinks..... can't really differentiate which by which. All also same colours and cups
(can main order and play random weh)

I also forgot which drink I ordered. There's hot, -on rocks (which means just ice cubes) and ice blended.
Aiya, lazy describe. Go there yourself la, price very good, NO TAX by the way.

On Sunday 5th of Oct we went to Isi Rimba Ulu Klang (way behind Zoo Negara) for some Paintball matches.

It was great, waking up early in the morning and went into the jungle.......

The rates we got were:
RM90 - Markers + face mask + 300 pellets + free food flow ala buffet
RM200 - 2000 pellets (1 box)

9 person joined, so it's approx RM113 per pax.

Here's the little pictures..... sorry i left my phone in the car so no snapping during the Speed-ball matches, only Rec-ball matches were taken. Thanks to Shukri who went out early because out of pellets to take some pictures.

Overall it's fun and tiring (minus the mosquitoes bites they complained because they wear short sleeves). All those sliding on the dirt sandy grassy jungle field were soooooooo fun! Next time I won't wear long sleeves anymore, it ain't that pain after all. We first timers already played 500+ pellets initially, so I expect more than 600 pellets on our next trip to Putrajaya Paintball Park.

Friday last week mark the broke-down of Kin Wai's Getz.

We jumpstart it also can't, finally have to abandon it. KW's dad came the night after, open the bonnet, and use his bare hand to tighten the battery's nut. And the car can be started.........WHATTAHELL??????? That's all??? Damn...................

Anyway, on Sat pula, after movie (Disaster Movie) Shuk, Sheng and me went back to Sheng's hse for a while. And Sheng offer us this bloody good whisky chocolates bought from Greek.

There's bloody sweetened (due to the choc) whisky in it, luv it!

I went to JJ Tmn Maluri after exam yesterday. Thought of grabbing 1 or 2 HW only..... but then......

WHAT A DEAL! RM24.90 FOR 5 HWs!!!

And so I dried my wallet.

4 basic HW + 1 Designers Challenge series + 1 poster

There's a lot of promo packs, but the reason i chose this (random cars inside) bcoz of these 2:

My PC's new Heart Transplant

Woo hoo!

After a boring day of waiting in Citibank (beside Nikko Hotel) corporate teller counter on Monday, I finally got a new heart for my desktop PC today!

The courier arrived at 10.30am+ with my new PSU (Power Supply Unit), I open and checked "230kW, machigai ne".

Ok, watch anime (Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion) then make some heart transplant preparation.
- open the system unit
- clean the dust
- take out the old PSU
- clean the dust again
- check everything's ok and the cables
- screw in new PSU and plug in all the cables
- take the unused plug cover from old PSU to cover the new PSU's unused plug
- open PC and tested ok

ALERT: Chikungunya Virus Outbreak

Attention everyone,

We have just been alerted that Chikungunya Virus Outbreak in Malaysia, spread by mosquitoes, is quite serious. More than 2,000 people are infected down south. There are claims of unreported deaths. Consult a health-care provider or better visit the nearest hospital for chikungunya fever if you showed symptoms such as fever, severe joint pains and rashes.

Four states have been hit, i.e. Johor, Malacca, N.Sembilan and Perak. The worst hit is Tangkak, Johor. Almost all elderly people (age 45 years and above) are infected with this virus. Many people who are infected seek treatment from Tangkak Hospital every day. There were times beds were full, and the hospital could not warded them. Therefore they were discharge after a half day treatment in the ward. This epidemic outbreak has persisted for more than three months.

► Below is the chronology of this outbreak.
1. Infected foreigner workers were bitten by mosquitoes in the plantations.
2. Then the virus were passed on by the same mosquitoes biting the local planters and their families are infected eventually.
3. Now people in this town (Tangkak) are infected as well as others in nearby towns and states.

► Symptoms of Chikungunya:
1. High fever
2. Rashes
3. Chronic joints pain (which will last for > 3months)
4. Concurrent deaths

► Recommendations:
1. Increase ad hoc facilities and manpower in district hospital and clinics.
2. Bring down the population of the vector (mosquitoes)
3. Quarantine the sick people who are infected with this virus.
4. Educate the public how to prevent and contain the disease.

Dr Teo Kim Lai (among the many courageous Pahlawan Volunteers veterinarians involved in the investigation of the Nipah Virus Outbreak,1999 archived at http://www.pahlawan.com.my/voice/VECrisis1.shtml) recommends that the sick should be quarantined as the virus is transmitted to humans by the bite of infected mosquitoes. CHIK fever epidemics are sustained by human-mosquito-human transmission.

Malaysian Budget 2009

1. Tax rebate for chargeable income group up to RM35,000 raised to RM400 from RM350 now while tax rate for RM35,000-RM50,000 reduced by 1pp to 12% and over RM250,000 by 1pp to 27%

2. Interest income received from moneys deposited in all banks fully exempted from 5% tax to increase disposable income.

3. Tax exemption for employees' allowances to include petrol (up to RM6,000pa), parking, meal, childcare (RM2,400pa), telephony and maternity.

4. Road tax on private saloon, non-saloon diesel vehicles to be the same as that of petrol vehicles

5. Home loan agreement of up to RM250,000 to be given 50% stamp duty exemption for Malaysians, limited to one purchase between Aug 30, 2008 and Dec 31, 2010.

6. Import duty and sales tax exemption on imported solar photovoltaic system equipment; sales tax exemption of local solar heating system equipment

7. Franchise holders of hybrid cars be given 100% exemption of import duty and 50% exemption of excise duty on new CBU hybrid cars below 2L.

8. Income tax exemption on fees received by corporate advisers for primary, dual or cross listings to attract foreign listings for 2009-2013.

9. Income tax exemption on fees from non-ringgit sukuk issued in Malaysia and distributed outside; also profits from trading of non-ringgit sukuk for 2009-2011.

10. REIT final withholding tax (wt) on foreign institutional investors to be reduced to 10% from 20%, wt on individuals reduced to 10% from 15% for Jan 1, 09 to Dec 31, 2011.

11. Excise duty on cigarettes to be raised by three sen per stick to 18 sen, duty for 20-stick pack raised by 60 sen.

12. Civil servants to get one-month bonus or at least RM1,000 for 2008, to be paid in two instalments

13. Import duty of between 5% and 25% on fertilisers and pesticides be abolished

14. Import duty of between 15% and 30% on electrical goods such as blenders, rice cookers, microwave owns and electric kettles be reduced to between 5% and 20%

15. Import duty of between 10% and 30% on petrochemical and polymer industrial goods such as rubber mats, tubes made of rubber and plastic bottles be reduced to between 5% and 20%

16. Import duty of 20% on port cranes be reduced to 5%

17. Import duty of between 25% and 60% on textiles such as carpets and glassware be reduced to between 20% and 30%

18. Import duty of between 5% and 20% on food products such as vermicelli, biscuits, mixed fruit juice and sweet corns in air tight containers be fully exempted.

Huhu, now that hybrid cars had been cheaper, for example, a RM60K priced car would be RM92.4K after tax here, and that the roadtax for private owned non-saloon diesel car would be the same with the petrols, all odds aren't against my dad to get a new car for me for himself! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Now now..... Mitsubishi Triton Lite or Civic Hybrid eh?
